My Comenius days in Croatia, Gintarė Bartkevičiūtė

This trip to Croatia was amazing. My days spent in Croatia went so quickly. These days I will remember all my life.
It was evening when my teachers, classmates and I came to Zagreb. Also, it was my first trip bya plane and I liked it very much. Firstly, we went to a place where we had to live. It was a hostel "Chill out". A room, where we lived in with the  Polish girls,  was very small but it doesn‘t matter. Then  I and my friends went for a walk in the city. I was surprised that late in the evening in the city there were so many people. Later, I found out that a nightlife is very popular in Croatia.
The next day was also amazing. The weather wasn‘t perfect but it didn‘t stop us to have a great time. The excursions were really good, we have a possibility to see the most famous places in Croatia like the  Plitvice Lakes National Park or  Vukovar hospital museum. Plitvice Lakes National Park I liked the most because there is a  very beautiful and amazing nature. I  felt like I was in a paradise of Croatia
I think that Croatia is a very beautiful country and Zagreb is very beautiful too. Other students were friendly, funny and sociable. When we  had to leave Croatia I felt very sad because I didn‘t want to go home. I would like to visit Croatia again in the future.

My Comenius days in Croatia, Indrė Jasaitytė
It was my first journey to such a distant country. I really don't regret that I participate in this Comenius project. It opens a way of interacting with people from other countries and  improved my English skills, learned some phrases in Croatian language. All time spent in Croatia was amazing, I have  never thought  that I could be in such a unique country like Croatia.
Firstly, this trip was a new experience because we all flew by airplane for the  first time. On May 9, in the evening we were in Croatia. The first day was uncomfortable but we quickly have adopted. The landscape of the country impressed us when we flew the airplane.  All time we have a lot of activities. During the three days we were guessing to see the Zagreb city, a historical museum, architectural monuments in it.We visited the museum for affected people during the war and the museum an open-air set up by military arsenal.  Also we were in the wonderful Plitvice Lakes National Park.
Nostalgia was depressed by last evening exhilaration that we will leave such a spectacular country and such wonderful people.

My Comenius days in Croatia, Rūta Daunoravičiūtė

I have never been in Croatia before, so I really wanted to travel to Croatia and to see how beautiful Croatia is. And also it was my first time when I flew in the airplane. I was very happy and excited.
When we arrived to the Zagreb, a taxi took us to the hostel, where we had to live during the trip. The hostel was very cosy and comfortable. We lived with the Polish girls in the same room.
Everyday we had something different to do. We were in the museums and also in the Plitvice Lakes National Park. After visiting museums and other places we had free time and we were allowed to hang out with other students. This time was really great and we had a lot of fun together.
I met a lot of interesting and new people from other parts of Europe and learned a bit about their countries and history. I had a wonderful time. This trip was unforgettable.

My Comenius days in Croatia, Viktorija Švedaitė

My journey to Croatia was wonderful. It was the  first time I had flown by airplane. It was really amazing. Our time in Croatia was absolutely fantastic, wonderful and totally perfect.
It took us the whole day to reach Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. When we arrived we met a Poland group and  together with them went to a Chillout Hostel. We had a very tasty dinner and after that we got the chance to have some time for us.
On the second day we went to school. The teachers and students were ready to greet us with a very interesting  welcome programme and after that we spent a lot of time watching our documentary films. We saw the different ways and results of Sovieticus regime. To my astonishment, all the countries experienced different sad historical moments.
After four hours we got an  opportunity to see the city. Our sightseeing was connected with the programme of our visit. The teacher, who was leading, us described in details the effects of Sovieticus times on the people, the buildings and the social life in Zagreb.
On the third day we went to Vukovar. There we visited museums and again paid special attention to the  symbols of the Croatian War of Indenpendence. This excursion was very interesting  for all us, because we learned a lot about  the Croatian War.
On the fourth day, early in the morning we had breakfast at the hostel and we all travelled by bus to the Plitvice Lakes National Park. Plitvice Lakes National Park is marvelous. I‘ve  never seen such large waterfalls in my life. After Plitvice Lakes National Park we went to the hostel and had free time.
On the last day I packed and all our Lithuanian group had free time,  as our plane flew in the afternoon. All  day we did shopping and  I bought  some souvenirs to my  friends and family. At 5 o‘clock we went to the airport and flew back to Lithuania.
I want to thank you all for a wonderful opportunity to visit Croatia. It was really interesting and catching. I saw wonderful places and met fantastic people. Also, the food was very good and we had great time with Croatian people at clubs in the evenings and at nights.

XOXO
