My Comenius days in Hungary
by Miglė Vaitonytė

It was the first time when I had been in another country and I spent 5 wonderful days in Hungary.
Firstly, we travelled by plane and I was very excited because I had never travelled by plane before. When we arrived in Szeged, my host family had already waited for me. My host family was very kind and caring. They gave me all that I needed to enjoy while I was living with them. I am very thankful to them for everything, I really enjoyed being with them.
The next day we had sightseeing in the city centre of Szeged. The weather was very good so I enjoyed a walk and I really liked the beautiful buildings. Then we went back to school and we had two lessons here. The school is very nice and tidy, the students are kind and always with a smile on their face. The most I enjoyed the trip to Budapest because it‘s one of the most beautiful cities. We visited the House of Terror where I learned about the history of Hungary. Also we were in the Parliament, it‘s really very impressive and majestic building. The most I liked the walk around the area of Buda castle because from here the view is an amazing and unique. From here you can see the whole city and the Danube.
In conclusion, I'm very glad that I had the opportunity to stay in such a beautiful country like Hungary. I was interested to get acquainted with the culture of another country, the people and of course I was able to develop my English language skills. I hope to visit Hungary again someday because this visit left an unforgettable experience and wonderful memories to me.

My Comenius days in Hungary
by Brigita Samušytė
On 20th March we left Lithuania and went to Hungary.  This was my first Comenius trip. I was really nervous because it was the first time I went to another country. On the other hand, I was very excited. I wanted to see Hungary and meet my host family. And I also wanted to see my host  Eliza.  But my days spent in Hungary went so quickly. The family where I lived was very nice, hospitable and caring.
In Hungary I saw a lot of beautiful places. We had a short trip around  Szeged. Szeged is a very beautiful town.  Also I saw and I was at school of Szeged.  During this visit I was not only in Szeged but we also visited Budapest.  Budapest is a very big and beautiful city. In Budapest we visited: Museum of Terror, Heroes Square, Parlament and also Fisherman castle. In the free time me and my host  were resting at home. Also we  meting her friends, spent time in Szeged having a great time and meeting others. While we were in Hungary the weather was really good. The sun was shining and it was really warm.
In this trip  I met a lot of interesting and new people from other parts  of Europe and learned a bit about their countries and history. I had a wonderful time. I will never forget this trip. And I think that someday I will come  back to Hungary for holidays.

My COMENIUS days in Hungary
by Kristina Turkute, Lithuania

From 20th to 24th of March I and my friends had a chance to visit Hungary.
My group had a flight from Vilnius to Vienna then to Budapest.
. It was really nice for me because I had flown by plane for the first time. When we landed at the Budapest airport, the bus to Szeged was waiting for us. Then my Hungarian host picked me up and we went home.  I was really happy to see my host family.
I think that the host family was really great. Even though we were only three of us, but we agreed perfectly. We spent Friday at school. Firstly, I joined my host and went to some lessons at school. In the afternoon we watched Comenius’ movies. Some of them I liked a lot, it was a chance for me to know something about other countries’ history. Then all students tried to learn some national Hungarian dances, but I did not go.
On Saturday we were in Budapest. I liked this city a lot. Budapest is really a beautiful city, especially the buildings. There we visited The House of Terror, Heroes’ Square, The Parliament and The Fisherman Bastion. It was really interesting but in the evening we all were very tired.
On Sunday we had some free time, so I and my host family went to a water park, it was really great, I was happy. Monday was really a sad day for me and my group because we had to leave Hungary.
I am really happy. I learned some historical facts, got to know new people and had really nice memories.  This trip was awesome, I will came back to Hungary in the future.

My Comenius days in Hungary

My name is Meda Makauskaitė and  I'm from Lithuania. Last month I was in Hungary.  It was my first time in Hungary. We visited very interesting and important places. Most interesting place for me was Parliament of Budapest. It was big gorgeous building.
People in Hungary were kind and funny. All the people I met in Hungary were very friendly. My host family was amazing. I learnt a lot of things about Hungarian traditions and about their history. I had the opportunity to taste  great national Hungarian dishes.
Also there was warm and dry weather and I enjoyed my trip! In my opinion, Hungary is one of the most beautiful countries in Europe. I liked my trip to Hungary very much. It was very interesting and instructive. I hope that I will be able to come back to Hungary sometime.
